About This Club

"We're eliminating your position." On August 17th, 2017 at 4:05 PM my boss said these words to me. By 5:10 PM I had turned in my computer, badge, took a few things from my office, and left the company. No goodbyes, no time to wrap up loose ends, just a few signatures and a good luck. This is my story now. Every day I share my life with you as I do my best to build the next chapter in my story. Nothing is hidden, nothing is secret. It's just me and my goals. Thankfully, I have some savings, some preps, and some time to think. The future is mine for the taking, and I plan to take all of it.

  1. What's new in this club
  2. Today I show you how to turn two comfrey plants into almost 30! Comfrey is an incredible plant and grows easily from root cuttings as small as 2 inches long!
  3. Today I finish what I started and clean up the rest of the garden area to make room for the fall planting! Now I've got a lot of work to do to prepare the beds themselves, but you can at least see the beds now! 4. What a week! Today I tame yet another jungle along our ~950 ft. driveway and discuss what I want to do with the ~2000 ft. of fence line that borders it. Fruit trees, berry bushes, and anything else I can think of are one the menu!
  5. I blast my way to a clean carport that has been neglected for too long stressing out my wife and I. Erin cleans up the herb garden and Clara shows us how to plant some sage!
  6. No that is not a smoothie, that's rumen fluid from a cow. Spent most of the day visiting with friends and running errands in town, but things get a little wild as the sun goes down!
  7. Today I took a trip to Gatlinburg with my family so I got a late start, but it ended with some nice soothing tea. I started making some comfrey tea to spray on my garden beds, and I even try my hand at some herbal tea for the first time!
  8. Today I talk to you about the things that I did to help prepare for the prospect of losing my job, and what we all need to do to start living a better life. The day ends with a really exciting delivery that I cannot wait to put to good use!
  9. The garden is a mass of weeds and other unspeakable horrors. Join me in my quest to take back what is mine in preparation for a fall planting.
  10. I've been laid off. Join me for what's next as I explore all the things I never had time for before. New videos uploaded daily. If you want to be part of a community we are building for viewers like yourself, go to ThriveThrough.com and fill out the form to register to be part of a BETA release coming soon! This is going to be a huge asset to all of us in homesteading, preparedness, responsible land management, and so much more. Thanks so much for watching!
